The EcoChoice Autumn Round-Up

The temperatures are dropping, there are leaves underfoot, and the air smells slightly like a bonfire; in other words, autumn has officially arrived. With the changing of the seasons, we thought it would be a great time to give our sustainable timber community an update on what has been going on at EcoChoice. This year is flying by, and if we do not stop and reflect every now and then, it will be New Year’s Day before we know it.

So, without further ado, let’s jump right into all the latest happenings in the EcoChoice world.

Our New SilverLuxe Products

The eagle-eyed out there might have spotted that there is a new product on the EcoChoice block. We have recently started supplying SilverLuxe timber cladding, and we are rather excited about it!

This is an amazingly low-maintenance timber which ticks all our boxes, including:

• Durability
• Longevity
• Aesthetics
• Sustainability

The timber is coated in a beautiful silver-grey stain for a faux-weather effect, giving you a more natural design option from the first day of installation. The stain also adds a layer of protection to the timber, enhancing its durability and resistance to issues such as rot and insect infestation. After a few years the stain is designed to disappear, revealing a naturally weathered timber beneath for an unbeatably beautiful look.

We have Dropped WPC

While we open one door with SilverLuxe, we are simultaneously closing another. This autumn, we have said goodbye to our WPC products, simply because we did not feel they aligned with our purpose. Sure, they helped us reach a wider demographic of clients, but were they really part of the sustainable EcoChoice ethos?

We love timber. We particularly love responsibly sourced, high-quality timber, and that is what we want our area of focus to be. By no longer stocking WPC, we are better able to focus on sourcing and supplying a wider range of innovative, eco-friendly timber products, such as SilverLuxe.
